This vacuum servo boot, part number 251 711 823, goes on the actuator which controls the diff lock or decoupler when the control knobs below the radio are used. It is for every Vanagon Syncro. It fits 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.

This boot is included with the new actuator.

This vacuum elbow, part number 251 711 998, connects the differential lock actuator to the vacuum supply lines, and also connects the differential lock switch to the vacuum supply lines on every Vanagon Syncro. It fits 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.

This official VW switch controls the front or rear differential lock or the decoupler on every Vanagon Syncro. It fits 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.

 		This alternative vacuum servo, part number BLP 711 822, controls the diff lock or decoupler when the control knobs below the radio are used on 86-92 Vanagon Syncro models with locking differential.

This vacuum actuator is made by the OEM to VW, and we modify it for use for the Syncro application. Unlike the original unit there are two notches where the roll pin could fit, use the notch that's closer to the body of the unit for correct operation.
