This cold start (5th) injector valve, part number 022 906 171B, gives the engine extra fuel when being started and run cold. It is bolted on the intake plenum of every fuel-injected 74-83 Type 2 Bus & Vanagon, and seals with a fifth injector gasket. It fits 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983 models.
