This official VW valve adjustment screw, part number 025 109 451, is in the rocker arm of every 83-85 Vanagon 1.9L waterboxer engine. This VW version is more expensive than the aftermarket ones, but too important to use anything but the best. Since most engines out there have been rebuilt at some time it is possible the rocker arm assemblies have been changed. Measure your adjustment screws to verify that the 9mm version is correct. It fits 1983, 1984 and 1985 models.
