Replaces old friction style brace. This is considerably easier to adjust. You’ll also need the geared bolt. No need for a pry bar, just a 22mm wrench to tension the belt (tensioned until you can just twist it 90 degrees) and a 13mm wrench to tighten up the bolt once you get it where you want it. Installation of these two things will take you 10 minutes or less. As easy as undoing the bolts they attach to and putting them back.
Easy to replace.
