This circlip, part number 113 517 279, secures the CV joint on the rear axle shaft of every Vanagon, and also secures the inner front CV joint on a Syncro. It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.
