This fuel filter, part number 1H0 201 511A, is for every 86-92 Vanagon. Some 80-85 Vanagons which normally take the square filter located before the pump have been retrofitted to take the later fuel filter, so check before ordering. It fits 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 models.

For better filtration, we like to retrofit this fuel filter on all early Vanagons. In addition to the filter you will need: fuel tank adapter, fuel filter bracket, nut plate, screw, fuel hose (.2m), fuel hose (.2m), clamp (6), clamp (2)
Depending on stock you may receive one of the following filters known as a Bosch 71028 Steel bodied or F5264 Aluminum bodied, unfortunately due to pricing and availability we must stock these two technically identical offerings although the aluminum F5264 is 24mm longer.
