This fuel tank, part number 251 201 075AE, is for every 83-85 2wd Vanagon with a 1.9L engine.

These are a Taiwanese reproduction which are the best available. The only fault we've found on them is that the fuel level sender port needs deburring before the sender is installed. It fits 1983, 1984 and 1985 models.

We have seen many vehicles where the fuel tank and filler neck have been swapped out to different type (usually the 86-92 tank), so please inspect your tank before ordering.

Fuel filler neck port: 50mm (plastic filler neck)
Fuel feed nipple: 7mm (square filter between pump and tank)
Fuel return nipple: 7mm
