Description

This speedometer cable, part number 251 957 803E, is for every 82-92 Vanagon. One end plugs into the speedometer and the other end goes through the front wheel bearing cap and is held on by a clip. Originally there were 2 cables connected at the EGR box (used to make the OXS light come on every 30k and scare you into visiting the dealership), however this 1-piece cable replaces everything. We've been using this Gemo brand cable in our shop for many years with great reliability.
